Take a trip inside the human lung!
Program Description and Mission:
The mission of the MBRS SCORE Program is to increase the production of scientific research on the CSUEB campus. With funding from NIH, faculty at CSUEB are supported in their research endeavors, making it possible to extend outreach efforts, and ultimately, research opportunities to underrepresented CSUEB students interested in pursuing a research career in science.
Selected faculty place underrepresented science students in their research labs, offering them hands-on research experience and training in a broad array of biomedical techniques. Students and faculty work together on research projects and students have opportunities to present the results of their research findings at academic conferences. Sometimes there is potential for submission of students' work in scholarly journals!
