Financial aid (loans, grants, work-study) based on need is available through the university. Also, both the Department and the School of Science offer merit scholarships. Scholarship applications may be obtained the department during the winter quarter.
Some students earn money as readers for courses, grading homework and doing other tasks for the instructor. Inquire in the Department office if this interests you.
